About Me

Whoa! I never thought I’d be blogging but thanks for stopping by.  A little bit about me so it feels like we’ve been formally introduced.  I’m a woman in my early 30s, interested and passionate about learning, education and talking…talking but not writing but that’s a skill I’m working on, hense the blog!  I’m from Calgary, Alberta and have just moved back there after an eight year hiatus in Vancouver, BC.  I’m a daughter, a sister, a sister-in-law and an auntie (which incidentally, is an awesome role in my life).

I have an entrepreneurship degree but I’ve been working for big corporations my whole career…sort of a fake entrepreneur…at least until recently when I made the switch to fulltime self-employment…yeah!  I work with an awesome guy called Chris Taylor – founder, President and Editor-in-chief of Goose Educational Media, and together, we’re building “The Goose” into a powerhouse of attitude-changing, thought-provoking learning through our relationships with business and personal development books, their authors and our tribe of followers.  You should probably check us out! (www.gooseeducationalmedia.com)

I also do consulting (I know, not a positive word in everyone’s mind but I love it) in the areas of Excel, data & business analysis as well as learning & training.  I’m capable in most areas of Human Resources, Finance & Accounting, retail category management and also strategy and business plan writing.  If you need something related to your business, you should probably call me!

And I think that’s it for now.  Thanks for being here and staying in touch.  I’ll do my best to keep you entertained and at the very least, I’m following through on another goal to be more accountable to myself…and if you could help with that too, that’d be great!

See ya!

You’re so fantastic! Seriously, fantastic. Wow. How have I been so wrapped up in my life to miss all this amazing work you’ve been doing. I’m loving it all. I can’t wait to not be so obligated to the books (THE BOOKS) so that I can do more than glance and snag snippets of your genius and thoughts, but rather luxuriously and completely experience them. Until then, I look forward to enjoying the snippets.

    Keep it up!
    Lu
